Dear Kids:

The gang and I are exhausted. Since we talked to you last, we traveled all the way from Lascaux, France, to the Valley of the Kings in Egypt and have been doing some site-seeing. 

Today we found a piece of papyrus with strange markings on it. The characters look like pictures, but we can't figure out what they mean. I'm sending you a snapshot. Please use your detective
skills (1) to decipher the message and (2) to determine if it came from ancient Egypt or if it is fake.
